Carlie came to me about a month ago to let me know that she was expecting baby number two and she was looking for a maternity photographer in Colorado Springs. I met her a few years ago when she was expecting her first baby and was fortunate to take her maternity pictures. They are a military family and moved away for the past few years so I was excited to hear they were back in the Springs.
Carlie is a beautiful soul and her pregnancy radiance really shines through the photos. We were able to take some pictures at Bear Creek Nature center on the west side of Colorado Springs. She definitely has her hands full with a rambunctious 2-year-old! It is always fun trying to get to try and get a precious toddler to attention for photos when all that they want to do is play!
We ended the session across the street at Red Rocks Open Space. The sunset provided great lighting for the shoot. Colorado Springs has such a great variety of locations for photoshoots. We are lucky!
