This session was super fun and candid, just the way I like family sessions to be.
I have missed doing family sessions for a while. I pretty much stopped offering them last year because I simply have a hard time appreciating posed family photography which is what most people are looking for. I recently felt like it was time to start offering them again but only to people who are interested in going out and having some fun and candid moments in front of my camera. With this session that is what we did!
It was a smokey day from all of the wild fires on the west coast and you couldn’t see the beautiful mountains but we decided to go ahead anyway. The original plan was to fly a kite, but the wind was not cooperating so the kids played some mini gold on the hill top. I captured them as they played, cuddled,hiked, caught bugs and even ate some chocolate chip cookies. What a beautiful family, and these sweet children were great fun. I hope to do more of these family sessions in the future. The possibilities are endless when trying to find fun things to do with your family while getting pictures taken, I am just there to document it 🙂
