Cole contacted me earlier this summer looking for an engagement photographer in Colorado Springs, he told me the exciting news which was- he hadn’t proposed yet. The couple was planning a trip to visit Colorado Springs within a week and he had a surprise proposal in mind. I was totally on board, especially when he told me that his love was expecting a baby too! I quickly knew that this was a great opportunity and we scheduled immediately.
The following week, we met up at Bear Creek Nature to kick off the maternity/engagment session. This couple was so cute and in love. They shared the story of how they first met, how they’d known each other for a pretty long time before dating, the excitement of being first- time parents and all that good stuff. I was pretty eager to hear about the recent proposal and from what they told me, it sounded pretty perfect – right on top of Pikes Peak, he proposed and she said yes.
The photo shoot was really fun, and after we spent some time at Bear Creek, we headed over to the south side of Red Rocks Open Space to conclude the session at sunset. I love taking customers to multiple locations to create different scenes for the images.
