Vanessa came to me looking for a newborn photographer in Colorado Springs and told me that Aria was born 5 weeks premature. At the time she contacted me, little Aria was close to being two weeks old. Luckily, we fit her into the schedule quickly. The first thing I noticed about Aria was that she was born with two top teeth. I’d never seen a newborn with teeth before! She arrived very sleepy and ready for pictures. I knew right away that she would be easy to work with.
She arrived in a cute little onesie and bottoms which turned out to be perfect for a few photos to start the session. This particular session took a little under two hours which is the average time for newborn photos.
I used a variety of white and neutral toned blankets and wraps to produce the simple look that I love so much. Like always, I focused on natural baby poses that are safe and also look so sweet! Thanks to my natural light studio, the window that I use for pictures provided me with the perfect amount of light to take these photos.
