Julia recently contacted me to be the photographer for their families in-home newborn photoshoot. I was excited because this would be my third time photographing the lovely C family in the comfort of their own home. She gave the awesome news that they were expecting baby # 5 and it was another beautiful baby girl!
A few weeks later, I received the news of her delivery and it was time to set a date. Julia’s husband is in the military and was going to be leaving soon for training, so we scheduled the session for 7 days after delivery day. It’s always a bit easier when I can photograph a newborn within 10 days of the birth, especially for an in-home newborn photoshoot. As always, I loved to see this growing family again. These girls are so well behaved and so much fun to photograph. The last time I photographed them, baby girl #4 had just been born. Time sure does fly!
The session went really well and I even had the opportunity to take some pictures of the baby outside in a basket. When I come to my customer’s homes for a newborn session, I bring wraps, blankets and a few baskets for variety. As always, I keep the session fairly simple and sweet to create those timeless photos that I love so much.
