As a Colorado Springs baby photographer, I’ve always been drawn to a more natural posing style for new babies. This style tends to create a more timeless and fresh look. One day, when these little newborns actually grow up, they will really appreciate this natural style and not feel embarrassed about being a naked baby in a picture. I love all types of newborn photography of course, and I’m not saying this style is for everyone, but it truly has a timeless feel to it.
On this page, I have put together a showcase of natural poses, to show off this simplistic style of newborn photography in hopes that I can help inspire other photographers out there, as well as; potential customers and fans who are looking for a Colorado Springs baby photographer 🙂
Most photographs were taken in my bright and airy studio in Old Colorado City. As you will see, I use a lot of creamy white tones for my fabrics and wraps which I feel really puts focus on the precious subject rather than putting the focus on the backdrop.
