It has been forever that all of my siblings and mom and step dad have been able to get away together. They joined me here in Colorado Springs and we headed down to Canyon City for the day. We ate a picnic lunch down by the river, went to the Abby Winery, Prisoners museum, Skyline drive, and the Royal Gorge. It was a beautiful day.
The next day we went to the Florrissant Fossil Bed National Monument which I will be sharing in my Part 2 of this blog post another day..stay tuned!
