We were lucky we were able to do this session since Colorado Springs weather is so unpredictable! it was so windy when we first got to Rock Ledge Ranch and I was wondering if we would have to reschedule. Luckily, the wind let up just enough that we were able to do the full maternity session! We even got a spectacular sunset 🙂 Kristina and her husband are expecting their first little baby girl pretty soon and you can tell they are super exited. Here are most of the photos from her maternity session: Enjoy~
Meet the beautiful Onix! She was nervous about getting pictures done but really a true natural when it came to posing 🙂 She will be having her first baby (boy) any day. I was happy we were able to do her maternity photos before she had him. We just found a few nice spots around Cheyenne Canyon area with wildflowers here in Colorado Springs and snapped away. Her gorgeous sister and my friend arrived about 5 minutes before the sun went down so we could get a few sister shots, wouldn’t it be awesome to preggo with your sis? Enjoy~
Paloma contacted me a few months back to plan a maternity shoot with me . We were originally supposed to go to Red Rocks for the session but due to recent flooding and rock slides they had closed down the park. So we decided to head over to Rock Ledge Ranch and Garden of the God’s which is always a favorite spot. Paloma and Frank are such a gorgeous couple and obviously very photogenic so they made my job easy. I always love getting to know my customers so we usually hop in the car together and ride around to find the best spots.
Katelyn is a gorgeous mama! I was trying to cancel this session due to rain and snow but she insisted on going ahead with the session. She had her hair and makeup done by my stylist Hair by Julie which looked great! We headed over to Garden of the God’s and had an awesome session despite the rain and snow that was lightly coming down at times. I am so happy we went ahead with the session because the next day her water broke and by the following morning 2 days later she had a baby! Her and baby are doing well 🙂 Enjoy~
Beautiful Liz contacted me to do her maternity photos, once we talked we decided doing them at Red Rocks Open Space would be great. She came over to get her hair and makeup done and we headed to our location. It was a perfect March evening with a lovely sunset. I get so lucky to photograph beautiful couples who are extremely photogenic. I couldn’t ask for more 🙂 Enjoy funny fact- this is the second Liz I have photographed at Red Rocks for maternity portraits “)
