I had the supreme honor of capturing Nicole’s beautiful birth story in late December. Birth of Chasten

Little Chasten gave his parents a long wait before he made his appearance! He was about a week overdue when the doctor decided to induce. They started the induction and it went very slow…I arrived when Laeny  was about 5 cm dilated and about a 28 hours since they started the process. She had her parents and her husband by her side. Zebulon’s birth day {Colorado Springs Birth Photographer}

What a day for this family! Angie had to be induced, they started the pitocen around 7 am on Saturday morning and little Zeb wasn’t born until 11:01 am on that Sunday. Angie and Curtis both worked so hard to bring Zebulon out of the womb. Curtis was right by her side reading her verses on note cards while Angie worked through each contraction. It was a long, hard and rewarding day and I was happy to capture a special time for this family 🙂

Emma’s birth story {5.21.2014}

It was about 4 am on wed may 21st when I woke up to my first “real” contraction of my pregnancy. I was 37 weeks and 6 days pregnant and I had been having Braxton hicks for the past week or two but nothing like this.
